At Big N' Small Paws 317, our Reactive Dog Bootcamp in Indianapolis gives dogs structure, confidence, calm leadership, and controlled exposure — not chaos, treats-only sessions, or high-energy daycare environments that make reactivity worse.
Our family has trained reactive dogs since 1998, and every dog receives individualized, trainer-led rehabilitation using safe, real-world protocols that actually transfer into daily life.

Training or boarding for a reactive dog?

A training program starts with a review of your dog's triggers, handling needs and any bite history. Regular boarding does not replace behavior training, and aggressive dogs are not accepted for regular boarding. Please contact our team before arranging a stay.

Can reactive dogs attend group classes?

We do not offer group classes. Private reactive lessons and Board & Train options are assessed individually. Day Training is for eligible dogs and excludes aggressive dogs.

What happens after the consultation?

Our team recommends the program and schedules training with you. Owner participation matters: you will practice handling and routines so the work can continue at home. Yes. Reactivity is one of our core specialties and one of the most fixable behaviors with the right structure.

Do you work with dogs that have bitten before?

Yes. We assess bite history, triggers and handling needs before recommending a program. Aggression Board & Train requires a minimum of 45 days. Program length and suitability are confirmed during your behavior consultation.
